Art, Light and Silence Festival at Taujėnai Manor!

Immerse yourself in a world of light, silence and eternity at the artistic ice sculpture festival “Eternal History in Ice”.
It is a unique experience where light, art and time come together. The festival invites you to look at eternal themes in a new way – through the beauty of melting ice and the sensitivity of contemporary creativity.

The festival’s exposition consists of two parts, inviting you to experience the world of ice art up close

The festival’s exhibition invites you to experience the world of ice art and the eternal stories that come to life from crystal clear ice. Visitors will see two spectacular ice sculptures: the miracle of the Nativity of Bethlehem, which tells the story of the Holy Family, and the Last Supper, which commemorates the famous meeting of Jesus and the apostles.

Both exhibitions are presented as a unified artistic experience, complemented by spectacular light installations that enhance the atmosphere of the stories captured in the ice. It is an invitation to stop, look and feel the emotion created by ice art.

The light and sculptures here speak without words – about faith, time and the fragility of human creativity.

Festival creators

Famous Lithuanian and foreign ice sculptors, well-known at international festivals, have joined forces for this project:

– Oleksiy Poda,
– Ihor Tkachivskyi,
– Mindaugas Jakuchionis,
– Kęstutis Benedikas,
– Algirdas Vaištaras,
– Mieczysław Woitkowski,
– Kristaps Anderson,
– I Made Sutama (Oka).

Their works are emotions immortalised in ice, which here becomes a symbol of temporality and eternity.

Experience the art of silence

“Eternal History on Ice is not only a spectacle, but also a feeling.
It is a place where time stands still, where art speaks with light and the viewer becomes part of the story.
The light installations, the background music and the carefully designed space invite you to not only see, but to feel – a dialogue between light, silence and faith.
